Hi, my loves!
Ah, summer’s upon us (at least here in India!) and I’m ready to brush on twice the amount of highlighter than I usually do. The sun’s out, and I’m ready to glow.
So, I thought I’d share my top three highlighters right now. They’re currently residing in my everyday makeup basket, and I tend to pick them out depending on the look I’m going for, or whatever I’m feeling that day. Let’s get into it x
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop
Ah, this one’s surely a staple, at least in my collection. This highlighter never lets me down, and I tend to go for this one when I need a super glowy and blinding look. Be warned: this highlight is intense, so proceed with caution. This product is crazy-pigmented as well, so you need very little of it too. It has a beautiful peachy-golden colour and translates beautifully on my medium skin- so if you’re another brown girl like me, this one is worth the investment.

Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy Highlighter
Ugh, I know I talked about doing a Project Pan and curbing my spending in my last post, but this one was way too good to miss. Sorry, not sorry! This beautiful light-gold highlight initially gives you a lit-from-within glow, but you can build it up to be blinding. I tend to go for this one on my chill-makeup days, when I’m not going all out and just need a bit of glow on my skin. If you have a fairer skin tone, I highly recommend this one for you.

Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Gold
This drugstore highlighter is finally available in India, and I couldn’t be happier. After seeing Tati rave about it, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this product. Super inexpensive and gorgeous, this one’s surely a steal. It’s a beautiful true gold, and the payoff is really good. When you first put it on, it’s like a medium-ish intensity, but once it’s built up, it can look blinding as well. If you have a deeper skin tone, you should definitely look into grabbing this one up.

And in case you want to compare, here are side-by-side swatches of all the highlighters, with and without flash.

Hope you all liked this post. Which highlighter is your favourite? Do you have any recommendations? Let me know in the comments below.
See you all very soon, and remember- keep glowing!
Love,

Really nice picks! I think the ABH Amrezy is my favorite of the 3.

Champagne Pop was actually my first ever highlighter and still my favorite. I’ve been very interested in the Amreezy one, though; I have fair skin but with olive and golden undertones (I’m Italian and Finnish, so those two battle it out in my skin color haha), so I LOVE golds!

The Amrezy highlighter is gorgeous! Very different from the usual Anastasia formulas too. I find that no matter how much I pile on, it never looks chunky or like a stripe. If you can get your hands on it, I’d definitely recommend it! Especially since you said that CP works for your skin, I’m sure Amrezy would flatter you, it’s more golden and lighter in tone.
