A Fun, Chill Q&A

Hi, my loves! So today I thought I’d do a fun little Q&A. I haven’t done one of these in a while, and when I saw my wonderful and hilarious friend Sam do this on her blog, I just had to “steal” her idea!

Please check out her post here. I’m sure you’ll love her answers, just like I did. And now… let’s dive in!

What animal best represents your personality?
Let’s see – I love to sleep, eat, and hate most of humanity, so…. a cat?

What are you most afraid of?
Not being independent or being able to take care of myself. Dependency is a huge NOPE for me.

Who is your favourite villain?
Darth Vader, hands down.

Stars or Moon?
The moon! I even have one tattooed on me.

Do you have/want kids?
Nope, never. Don’t really like them, and I’m not cut out to be a mom.

What is your greatest life goal?
To become a published author and write the most twisted yet funny book humanity has ever seen.

What is something you can’t live without?
I’d say water. I know we need it to survive, blah blah blah. But I genuinely love water. It’s my favourite drink and drinking cold water makes me happy. Yeah, I don’t know what that’s all about either.

What is some life advice you have acquired?
Life has taught me that hard work and determination will take you places, no matter your background or how many degrees you have. Oh, and fake it until you make it. Been doing that for years now!

What is something strange that you think about often?
Hmm… how poop is touching all of us on the inside right now.

Baths or Showers?
Showers, quick and easy.

Tea or Coffee?
I’m Indian, so the answer is pretty obvious – a good ol’ cup of adrak chai!

Writing or typing?
Typing, but on a typewriter. I’m clearly all about that #aesthetic.

Describe yourself in two words.
Kind & Witty.

Any plans for a tattoo?
Already have a few! The next one will be inked very soon.

What is the sickest you have ever been?
I don’t know how ‘sick’ this is, but I shattered my ankle about 1.5 years ago. That’s the most major illness/accident I’ve had. I was on bedrest for 2 months, and using crutches for the next 6 months. It was absolutely horrible, and I had to be dependent on my medical assistants for those two months for the littlest things (like going to the washroom). That played into my greatest fear of being dependent, and I was going through a hard time, both physically and mentally.

Ever had a paranormal experience?
Yes, I think so? I’m not sure though.

What is your favourite mythological creature?
Anubis, the Greek God of death.

What is your favourite meal… ever?
CHICKEN BIRYANI! I can happily eat it for the rest of my life.

Recommend anything. Seriously… anything.
Again, Chicken or Mutton Biryani. You’ll thank me later.

If you had one wish that would definitely come true, what would it be?
Guaranteed free food and healthcare for all. Also fuck racism, sexism, and homophobia.

Do you believe in fate/everything happens for a reason?
Yes, 100%.

What is your favourite thing about your personality?
I’m hilarious. I think my dry, witty sense of humour is the one thing I have going for me, haha.

What is your favourite thing about your appearance?
I quite like my big, almond shaped eyes.

What is your favourite clothing store?
H&M, since all I wear are black and grey basics, along with the occasional band t-shirt.

What is your favourite online store?
Nykaa.com, that’s where I get most of my makeup from!

How do you usually have your hair?
I straighten it a little after I wash it (otherwise I look like a frizzy mess) and just let it be. I usually wear it down with a middle part.

What makes you feel empowered?
Being able to express myself, whether it be through makeup, writing, playing music… anything creative.

What motivates you to do something?
If I want to do it, I do it. The End.

What advice would you give someone who is going through a rough time?
It gets better, I promise. Super cliché, and I wouldn’t have believed myself either 2 years, or even 2 months ago. But it really does. We all go though things, good or bad, to learn a lesson. And later, when you look back at it all, you’ll be glad it happened.

What is something you are currently looking forward to?
Flying out to Bangkok this Sunday! (I wrote this post in advance and now I’m back. It was awesome!)

Do you like musicals? If so, what’s your favourite?
I’m not the biggest fan of musicals.

Where did you ancestors come from?
Uh, I don’t really know, but if we’re talking pre-Partition, I’d say what is now known as Pakistan.

What reminds you of your best friend?
Tons of little things!

What are you passionate about?
Freedom. In my thoughts, space, work, and for others. Freedom to just be.

Where would you like to travel to?
I want to travel the entire world, if I’m being honest. But currently Egypt, Russia, Paris, London, Korea, Kyoto, Sweden, NYC, LA, and Finland are high up on my list.

Well, that’s the end of this Q&A! I hope you all liked it. If you plan to do it as well, let me know. I’d love to check it out and learn more about you.

See you soon x

  1. You are the sweetest, thank you so much for tagging me and linking back! ❤
Your answers are great and I agree, you are very kind and witty!
Fake it till you make it is great advice! It's really helpful to be confident in yourself and it really helps you get where you want to be. Also, that ankle situation sounds absolutely terrible! I went crazy being on bed rest for a week haha

  2. Oh wow, you definitely win with loving the moon more than stars if you have an actual tattoo of one on your body haha! I love that!
